Peter rebuilt a Bucker Jungman and used it to fly displays in the UK and Europe. 50 years and 20,000 hours later he is flying as an instructor at Andrewsfield where he puts his enormous experience to use, working tirelessly, educating his pupils on flight safety.
To this end he has introduced a cup which is awarded annually to the person at his club who has displayed outstanding safety in his/her flying. He also encourages others to share stories so that many may learn from their experiences. He has also started a monthly newsletter in which he describes a scenario for members to ponder. He then poses questions based on it and invites members to send in their answers anonymously before giving his answers at the end of the month. Students and fellow instructors have started to collect them as reference works.
