Phil Chett is trying to collate all the RAeC awards that have been given over the last 100 odd years, and put them into a database format so they can be searched, as well as filtered by various methods.
It would appear (from personal observation) that a lot of the info is out there in the interweb somewhere, its just a matter of finding it, and trying to put it all together.
It seems that others have also tried to do the similar, then for whatever reason findings have come to a halt.
Why is he doing it ?
Bill "bastard" Bell asked him to collate and list all the BHPA awards including RAeC and FAI awards that are relevant to the BHPA.. In the process of attempting to do this Phil discovered that on the face of it this info seems to have disappeared over the last decade or so, so started delving a bit deeper. The results of this delving will be found in the pages of this web site, which Phil uses for testing stuff.
Whats he going to do with it once he is done. ?
Good question ! Stuff relevant to the BHPA will probably be posted somewhere but don't know where yet. It may be once Phil has collated as much as he can , other organisations may be interested in the data.
